I graduated from India. I did my postgraduate training in Ophthalmology in India and further training in the UK. I have worked in various tertiary NHS hospitals in both clinical work and involved as a co-investigator in various ophthalmology clinical trials. I did subspecialty training in glaucoma at Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary after obtaining my FRCOphth (Fellowship of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, London). I further undertook prestigious glaucoma fellowship training at Queen's Medical centre, Nottingham.
I am currently working as Substantive Consultant Ophthalmic surgeon at Queen's Hospital Burton part of University hospitals of Derby and Burton. I have several years experience in providing care for general ophthalmology conditions including dry eye disease, blepharitis.
I am a glaucoma specialist, for glaucoma treatment I perform glaucoma laser treatments including YAG laser peripheral iridotomies and selective laser trabeculoplasties.
I am skilled in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma procedures (iStent , OMNI) and glaucoma surgeries.
