Mr Mr Jason Yap

Mr Jason Yap is a consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncologist currently based in Pan BirminghamGynaecological Cancer Centre, a regional tertiary cancer centre for Birmingham.He is also the lead clinician for vulval disease, offering specialist treatment for benign, pre-cancerous and cancerous condition of the vulva, including vulval pain syndrome (vulvodynia).

Mr Yap studied medicine at University College London, UK, graduating with an award in the subject of Obstetrics andGynaecology. He then moved to Birmingham and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2020, and at the same time obtained his sub-specialist accreditation in Gynaecological Oncology. He also undertook additional specialist training in managing women with various vulval condition, particularly in vulval pain. In addition, he won the a prestigious TravellingFellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and undertook further specialist training in vulval reconstruction surgery and he current offers women corrective plastic surgery for various vulval conditions.
