Akeel is an experienced pharmacist since 2009. He has previously held managerial posts in community pharmacy and has extended his practice as an independent prescriber in a variety of clinical settings including GP practices, urgent care centres, out of hours private GP service providers and various walk in treatment centre's across the Midlands.
He specialises in managing and prescribing in minor illness and injury. He has a keen interest in addressing public health needs, reducing health inequalities and improving patient experience through safe and evidence led prescribing.
Akeel is married with two children. He coaches youth cricket in his spare time, and enjoys travelling and spending time with the family.
